During this period to ensure patients are looked after in a manner keeping both patients and staff safe all patients requiring a same-day appointment will be triaged to assess the urgency of their need.
Telephone consultations are arranged by the admin team. The assigned clinician will phone you and then, if needed, arrange a same-day or pre-booked face to face review.
For patients with prearranged appointments, you will be contacted in the morning of the day of your appointment to ensure you do not have any COVID symptoms.
For anyone with cough, shortness of breath, fever, or loss of smell/taste; then we will rearrange the face-to-face appointment for a more appropriate time. We have a dedicated COVID service to where we direct patients in need of help.
When patients are seen in the surgery, our team wear full protective PPE, and strict infection control and social distancing measures are in place.
Home visits are arranged as above, but only where strictly necessary.
